James G. Dibbini & Associates, P.C. is proud to announce that we will be awarding a scholarship to a high school senior who is going to college. Our motto at JGD is “Trust, Commitment & Integrity. “Trust is defined as “the firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something”; Commitment is defined as “the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause or activity” and Integrity is defined as “the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.” We pride ourselves on having all of these qualities here at JGD & Associates. We strive to bring out the best in every student we encounter and help lead them to their ultimate goals.
Application Instructions:
Please read these instructions carefully. Scholarship applications that are incomplete or otherwise do not follow instructions will not be considered.
Who Is Eligible?
Any high school senior living in the Yonkers, NY area who is going to college.
How to Apply:
- Applicants will need to submit a video no more than 1 minute and 30 seconds detailing how they relate to our principles and plan to apply “Trust, Commitment & Integrity” to their academic and personal careers and what their ultimate goal is in life.
- Upload the video to YouTube.
The video must use the title and description format below.
Title: “James G. Dibbini & Associates Future Lawyers Scholarship Video – [YOUR NAME] – 2017”
Description: [YOUR SUMMARY OF VIDEO CONTENT] This video is an application for the James G. Dibbini & Associates Future Lawyers Scholarship. This scholarship, offered by James G. Dibbini & Associates, will be given to one student who relates to our principles and plan to apply “Trust, Commitment & Integrity” to their academic and personal careers and what their ultimate goal is in life.

- Share the video online, on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, and any other social media networks on which you have a profile.
The number of likes and views that the video receives on YouTube will be taken into account when selecting a winner.
- Submit your application using the form to the right. Your application must include a link to your video, an essay expanding on the content of your video and your resume.
The essay must be 500 words or less. Your resume should outline your academic, extracurricular and volunteer profile.
When Is the Deadline?
All applications must be submitted by June 30th, 2017.
How Is the Winner Chosen?
The winner will be selected based on how they relate to our principles and plan to apply “Trust, Commitment & Integrity” to their academic and personal careers and what their ultimate goal is in life. The number of likes and views that the video receives will also be taken into consideration, so make sure to share it!

When Is the Winner Announced?
The winner will be announced on July 31st, 2017. He or she will be contacted by email. A check made out to the institution in which he or she is enrolled will be sent to the address provided in the scholarship application no later than 30 days after the announcement.
